KTM 690R and Enduro

The 690 can do such a wide range of motorcycling tasks it's hard to pin it down to one.

KTM 690R and Enduro Forks

There have been several series of KTM 690 forks in varying cartrige diameters with compression adjusters on the bottom, side and top of the fork. Spring rates stock are between 0.52 and 0.59 depending on the year. The 2008-2018 models benefit from a revalve of the stock internals while the 2019 on 690 and 701 are Xploor internals, similar to the EXC

All the 250mm and 275mm travel forks can be converted to 300mm. See chart below for the EXC parts you require. The Rods from the 2012-2013 model that enabled 275mm have been discontinued by WP

KTM 690R and Enduro Shock

The WP shock in all 690's only went through one change in 2012. Externally it's the same, 80N spring. the setting change was aimed at making the shock more compliant from 2012 on. We have a wide range of shock springs for the 690 in HiCalibre's 20-053 Series Shock Springs.

The X-Trig Spring Preload Adjuster is a great addition too, as the stock shock collar tends to bind up. We can repair any 690 shock with a damaged shock body and the addition of the XTrig is much kinder to the aluminium alloy shock body.
