Motorcycle Fork Outer Tube Parts Fork Outer Tube Snap Ring and Washer
Older bikes had chrome steel pipe clamped in the triple trees, sliding inside the aluminium outer case at the bottom, with it's cast in axle clamps. This is a "Conventional" front fork & is still used on many retro cruisers - but most road or offroad sport bikes now use it's successor - "Up-Side Down" forks. USD Fork Legs have larger alloy upper tubes clamped at the top, chromed lower leg pipes sliding inside, with a separate pair of lugs at the bottom as the feet that clamp the front axle.
OEM fork outer tubes need several internal components fitted to them - these spacer washers, spring snap rings or wire stopper clips for retaining oil seals, end covers and corrugated rubber gaiters are all available separately here. We also stock special aftermarket outer tube protectors & covers to provide even better protection for suspension surfaces that regularly race offroad.

Depending on your suspension tuning budget, your fork pipes can come in stock chrome or alloy finishes, or with colourful friction-reducing performance hard coatings.
Please remember that whatever slick finish your inner or outer casing tubes have, they still need to be kept clean & maintained - dried gritty mud can scratch and kill even the toughest coating eventually.
We also sell all the separate stock parts to service the lower legs of your bike's front suspension - including set screws, clamping bolts, sealing o-rings, oil lock cases, a factory left or right axle holder foot. The centre sealing bolt at the base of the feet often features rebound adjustment - find out how to use that adjuster effectively in our clicker setup guide.
If you still want a performance edge, remember that we also have factory racing kit axle lugs for a range of specific forks, or universal holeshot clamps to give an advantage off the line to most offroad motorcycles.
