WP is Europe's biggest motorbike suspension company, and most of their factory coilovers can be rebuilt, so when your shock components are worn out you can rebuild them yourself. We stock genuine servicing sets that include the normal consumables inside a shock absorber, including a gas bladder, seal head, bumper, piston band and rubber o-rings. Buying the overhaul kits saves money and time, but each of these repair parts are available as individual parts or full assemblies in our other categories.

We have a very long history tuning WP's unique Pilot Discharge System (PDS) linkless rear shocks - we developed special tapered wire springs (as tested by many big names in Australian offroad racing) - and we still carry about twice as many spring rates as WP themselves. Their light weight and simplicity make them popular but they need careful tuning to make them as smooth as a linkage setup. No sticky or crunchy rear swingarm link bearings to grease or replace though!

While you are repairing your damper you will occasionally need specialist WP Specific Suspension Tools. Please be careful while removing & refitting the spring - we have all seen the DIY hacks and resulting injuries. And since you are overhauling the rear suspension, remember that we have fresh performance shock fluid (and a range of other performance lubricants) for your regular oil change too.

Maintaining your OEM rear shocks is made easier with our complete DIY packs, but don't forget you will need to regas your shock after fixing it - we have special regassing tools for those notoriously difficult to service WP piggyback monoshocks.
