Plug & Play Dynamic ESA Closed Cartridge - One Fork Leg only - use OEM spring - No Springs Included

These electronically controlled fork cartridges are plug and play - plugging into the motorbike with the original connector. No need for cancelation kits or other modifications to the bike or to it's wiring harness - ensuring that the original controls on the handlebar remain operational. The motorcycle's control unit does not notice electrical differences between the original damping valve and the Tractive DDA (Dynamic Damping Adjustment) valve - even though it has a larger adjustment range and adjusts faster than the original OEM valve.

Extreme Electronic Closed Fork Cartridges featuring:

  • Electronically Controlled Compression Damping Adjustment
  • Electronically Controlled Rebound Damping Adjustment
  • 12mm Spring Preload Adjustment on both Fork Legs
  • Top Out Spring for added grip under acceleration
  • Hydraulic End Stops to prevent bottoming on landing
  • De-Aeration Screws in Fork Caps to release oil foam and air
  • Easily opened for servicing and tuning
  • Wide range of available spring rates for each model

These top of the line cartridges fit right into the fork legs without modifications to the fork. Developed initially in close cooperation with rally riders and world traveling adventure riders needing durability - they give much improved offroad grip while retaining comfort over the whole suspension stroke. We have since applied the same stable and finely controlled damping behaviour to road/race applications too.

The closed cartridge design means that the cartridge acts as a separate pressurised shock absorber inside the fork with its own damping oil for optimal handling. A big part of their success is due to the massive 35mm piston diameter - the largest used by any aftermarket fork cartridge. The high oil flow combined with the large volume makes for long-lasting stability and handling. The size of the internal bore also allows the use of electronic adjusters for our ESA replacement shocks.

Inside the cartridge are top out springs that create an easier moving fork for accelerating out of corners - resulting in better grip over more of the suspension stroke and prevents the bike from going into a headshake.

This cartridge product contains the FSAD stabilising module - which delays the onset of chattering and gives the rider more control overall. The Frequency Selective Active Damping system actively removes the vibrations corresponding with the natural frequencies of the tyre. It is essentially a tuned mass damper with a mass-spring rate system designed to the tire vibrations. This product is meant for the pro rider - and for those customers it will be a stark difference to a cartridge without - instilling confidence and allowing for later braking and earlier accelerating.
