Motorcycle Fork Adjustable Holeshot Launch Controls

When most riders talk performance the first thing they think of is POWER - but if you're smart, that's the last on the list. Shoving grunt into a chassis that can't cope builds a scary bucking bronco. First steps are basics - make sure your bike is properly maintained, clean, no leaks, fresh oil, good clutch setup. Remove any extra weight. Fit grippy tyres. You've got the perfect starting point! Quality suspension comes next & Teknik Motorsport are motorcycle suspension tuning experts.

Motocross racers know how important the sprint from the starting gates are - you're racing the first turn in clean air or eating mud for ages. How about better initial traction without upsetting your suspension tune for the laps? Not witchcraft or cheating - these special launch collars from X-Trig give a podium performance advantage.

Imagine your stock pair of forks in slow motion as your offroad bike transfers weight - the front fork legs extend as the pressure comes off them, the rebound damping components absorb that force. At full height it stops slowing things, so momentum starts pushing compression hard onto the rear. The tyre grips into dirt & you begin to move. These high quality CNC billet alloy collars clamp your inner tubes low & compressed off the line, halving the time by losing less energy as dampening in the cartridge. It all squats rearward straight away - then when you get to the corner you hit the unlock button & the forks raise ready to absorb rough bumps.

DIY aftermarket engineered upgrades rarely bolt on this easily; they assemble without removing your existing forks and no modifications are needed. They don't effect steering control or damper range & connect to factory front ends, but would suit some matching XTrig Triple Clamps even better!
Two control versions are available, standard hole shots have one button & no adjustability, while HiLo parts have an adjuster switch so you can fine tune between high & low locking settings. You don't have to fight your way through the pack.

Watching racing videos, do the winners look like they're being kicked around? That circuit star can lean further, without braking dive, sailing over cornering bumps that push you off line. That motocross hero hooks up on loosest dirt, turns quicker after landing jumps, floats over whoops that rattle you roughly. Are they more skilled? Maybe. But their motorbike is predictable & controlled, giving confidence to push grip further & time to concentrate on faster laps.

Tuned suspensions aren't just for the track though. Riding on potholed tarmac or offroad trail adventures improves too - a smooth ride, comfortable saddle no longer absorbing corrugations & vibration, longer endurance. Keeping safe tyre contact with the road under all conditions gives more grip & acceleration.

So now you've built up some skills & experienced riding a competent bike, how about setting up your gearing for better lap times & ridability? You're finally ready to turn up the wick with a screaming tuned engine & a blasting aftermarket muffler - but have a think about it first.
