Motorcycle Rear Suspension Performance Links

Think of your motorbike's chassis as a skeleton - all the organs to make it work get bolted on. With electronic sensors & wiring as the nerves, shoulders made from triple clamps & handlebars connecting the forks as arms, plus stock linkages & swingarms as leg bones. They're called rear swing ARMS & front fork LEGS - but you don't ride backwards, right? So close enough.

If your human frame doesn't quite match the height of your metal motorcycle bones, there are Lowering Links or their opposite Raising Links to get your seat height right. But sometimes there are reasons other than rider comfort to change factory rockers, dog-bones or pullrod sets. What if there were some extra strong CNC milled billet frog leg bones to quickly & easily improve back wheel hookup? These performance links sometimes change the seat height a little bit, but the main goal is a racing edge, with geometry tuned for more traction & grip under acceleration. Getting stuck in the pack is frustrating, so a stronger hole shot & extra punch out of corners from a small DIY upgrade can make a big difference.
All our link kits come pre-assembled with bearings, seals & grease nipples, so installation & maintenance is easy. You'll be improving your suspension by replacing your rusty, sticky or crunchy old shock linkage bearings too!

If you want another advantage for the other end, attach a Holeshot Launch Control from X-Trig to your fork tube - it limits front suspension travel off the line to keep the bike pushing forward nose down. Combine these two tricks for an amazing launch.

Once you've serviced & upgraded your suspension you will need to tune your damping to suit - tune the coilover compression & rebound clickers to maximize your advantage. Your sag will have changed now too - use our free suspension setup tips to set your spring preload correctly.

If only your human body was this easy to repair & enhance! We'd all be in better shape. Give it a good service with plenty of lube!
