Motorcycle Bare Shock Shafts

Right in the centre of your motorbike's coilover is the main damping shaft. At the top end it holds the piston inside the shock absorber body while at the bottom end it screws onto the Clevis or Yoke.

The hard chromed damper shaft looks simple, but is full of inner components - the rebound adjuster presses on a pushrod that slides around inside that main damping rod, with tiny guides, bushes, o-rings, spacers, clips and an angled end needle used to adjust valve pressure.

These bare OEM shock shafts don't include the internal small components inside - just an empty steel outer tube - however we sell the inner rebound parts, the lower attachment lug & rebound clicker from the base, plus the mounting bearings parts separately. Remember that the bearing & seal need regular servicing too!
