Our kit is designed to improve responsiveness and ensure consistent performance across diverse riding conditions.

The Desert X uses a KYB 46mm fork leg with a new style of cartridge we have never seen KYB use before - it's a 20mm cartridge with 10mm shaft in a split arrangement - so the rebound & compression adjusters are both at the top of the forks.
We had our head tech test ride the DesertX in stock trim on both tarmac & adventure tracks, with feedback from that test & our suspension dyno testing indicating we wanted more damping than the fork legs could offer with external adjustment.

Through meticulous engineering and rigorous road & trail re-testing, we've made internal changes to lift the damping to a level similar to other adventure competitors.
